Hosts J&K inning folded for despite valiant effort by Owais Shah who scored 44 against Odisha at Science College Jammu.
Batting first after winning the toss, J&K got off to a bad start with debutant opener Qamran Iqbal getting out for naught and so was Shubham Khajuria. JK were reduced 5/2. Ian Chauhan and Parvez Rasool also got out soon leaving JK inning on 7/4. Owais Shah joined in middle Irfan Pathan took JK score to 62 runs. Pathan got out after scoring 10 from 47 while as Shah after scoring 44 from 97. Obaid Haroon was next to go scoring 6, Amir Aziz 4. Akaash Chowdary tried to play his shots, scoring 27 off 30 before getting out. Umar Nazir was last man out scoring 2. Mohammad Mudhasir remained not out on 12. For Odisha, S Pradhan took 4, B Mohanty 3.
