J&K Under-19 team suffered their 2nd defeat in Vinoo Mankad Trophy as they were betean by Himachal Pradesh by 7 wkts at Jaipur on October 8.

Opting to bat first after winning toss J&K got bundled out for 168 runs in 50 overs. Despite getting a decent start on the back of brilliant knock played by Qamran Iqbal, J&K failed  to put a decent total on board. J&K lost first wicket in shape of Jiyad Magrey on the score of 49 in the 9.4 overs. He scored 8 off 24.

After wicket kept falling at regular intervals and Qamran was watching at the other end. Qamran got out after scoring 55 off 72 that included 6 boundaries and 1 six. The J&K score at that time was 90 with five wickets down. After that lower order batsman Musaif, Govind and Mujtaba tried to save the inning but couldn’t do much. Govind scored 35, Musaif 22 and Mujtaba 16.

In reply Himachal were never in trouble achieving target for the loss of 3 wickets in 43.4 overs. Vaibhav Sharma played a brilliant unbeaten ton for Himachal. For J&K Sajid Ayoub, Govind and Taizeem tak took 1 wicket each.
