Qamran Iqbal the next big thing of J&K batting is on the rise as he displayed his talent again on October 9 against Tamil Nadu by scoring brilliant Century.
While playing for J&K Under-19 team Qamran Iqbal in Vinoo Mankad Trophy, Qamran Iqbal went on to slam a 101 off 107 balls to give some respect to J&K inning which otherwise was faltering. J&k got all out for 227 runs with Qamran contributing with 101. That meant close to half of the J7k total was scored by Qamran. Earlier in the same tournament Qamran had scored fifty against Suarashtra while all other JK batsman failed to contribute big.
The former J&K Under-19 skipper has been on the rise recently after getting call up for Indian Under-19 camp and following that with selection in Under-19 India B team for 4-Nationa tournament. Qamran scored fifty in his debut match for India B and bagged man of the match award. He went on to score one more fifty in the tournament that India B eventually won.
We may soon see him playing for J&K Ranjhi Trophy team and also for India juniors again.
