The match turned out to be absolute cracker. Sanjar CC Pulwama won the toss and invited Bairaj XI to bat who gracefully accepted the invitation by plundering bowlers of Sanjar to all parks of ground, scoring mammoth 225 runs in alloted 20 overs losing 8 wickets in the process.

Jehangir Lone top scored with quickfire 65 while as Zahoor Xolo chipped in with 44 runs. For Sanjar Azhar and Abbas took 2 wickets each.

In reply Sanjar CC Pulwama’s batsmen foiled all the plans of Bairaj XI’s Bowlers replying them in their own language. Initially Manzoor Illahi guided the ship by scoring valuable half century but it was at the end when Umer Illahi’s power hitting helped Sanjar CC Pulwama to overcome the requisite target. Sanjar needed 4 runs of last ball but Umer Illahi tonked Jehangir Lone’s delivery out of stadium for maximum thereby helping Sanjar CC Pulwama to qualify for semis.

Umer Illahi for his match winning unbeaten knock of 55 runs was declared as MoM.
