PSL side Multan Sultans’ owner commits suicide

The owner of the Pakistan Super League side Multan Sultans , Alamgir Khan Tareen, has committed suicide.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved team owner, Alamgir Khan Tareen,” Multan Sultans said in a statement.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Tareen’s family. We request you all to kindly respect his family’s privacy. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” it said.

Meanwhile as per reports, Tareen shot himself in the head with his pistol.

The reasons behind Tareen’s suicide are not yet known.

Lahore police have also started an investigation.
