Srinagar, December 3: Prof Zahoor Ahmed Jhat of Electronics department defeated Prof. Aijaz Bhat of Department of Math to win the All Staff Islamia College Table Tennis tournament in a closely fought final match at Islamia College T T Hall Srinagar on Thursday, December 3.
Prof Zahoor won by 3: 1 games with the score 11:9, 8:11, 11:8 15:11.
Prof. Shiek Aijaz Bashir Principal of the college gave away the trophies to the finalist in a simple valedictory function at the end of the match.
16 staff members participated in this tournament organised to select a staff T T team for the forthcoming inter college staff tournament being played at Islamia College soon. The tournament was organized by department of Physical Education of the college.
