Srinagar: Pencak Silat Association of J&K is going to conduct the Open Selection trials for both boys and girls for all age groups on Febuary 7 at SK Indoor Stadium Srinagar.
The trials would be held in Singa Macan, Pre Teen, Sub Junior Junior and Senior for the participation of J&K UT teams in the 1st All India Pencak Silat Championship 2023-24, which is scheduled to be held at nanded , Maharashtra from 17-19 February 2024.
A Player should carry a valid ID proof & age proof duly recommendations from his/her district head along with a Parent declaration and a medical and health & insurance certificate and other related documents like 2 no’s of passport size photographs after receiving all the documents, the player is eligible for the selection trials. It is advised to all the affiliated District Pencak Silat Associations, statement said.
Moreover , Selection trials of Vacant Weight categories/ class or event , if any for the 7th Pencak Silat Federation Cup 2023-24 for Junior and Senior ( Male and Females ) will also be held during the trials on 7th February 2024 , if anyone of the athelete, who had already played Junior National Pencak Silat Championship 2023 at Patna Bihar and Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2023 at Nashik Maharashtra may cancel his/ her participation if any of their personal reasons, it said.
NO boarding, Lodging or any Transportation will be provided during the trials. Selected athletes will face the screening team of J&K Sports Council on 8th February 2024.
All the interested athletes are requested to kindly follow the procedure as per the rules and regulation laid down in this notice.
