Srinagar: Proving his talent and value in the Sri Lanka’s top limited over tournament, J&K’s star cricketer Parvez Rasool has emerged out as top wicket-taker in the Major Clubs tournament, Colombo after the end of first round.
Playing for Badruleya Sports Club in the 50 over format tournament, former J&K skipper Parvez Rasool has been brilliant with both bat and ball for his side.
After having emerged as top all-rounder in Sri Lanka’s four day format tournament, Parvez is now currently top wicket-taker in the Major Clubs Tournament.
In the five matches played, Parvez has claimed 17 wickets with the average of 13 and economy of 4.8. His best figures so far have been 6/45 which are his best List-A bowling figures.
The second in the list is Dhap Tharanga with 13 wickets and A Dananjaya with 12 eickets is at third place.
With 175 runs in five matches, Parvez Rasool also stand at 14th place in the highest run getters list in the tournament.
