Pakistan holds first training session in India for World Cup 2023

Srinagar: Pakistan Cricket team after arriving in India held its first training session on Thursday morning at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.

This was their first training session since arriving in India for the 2023 ICC World Cup.

The training session witnessed participation from the majority of the squad, including key players such as the captain, Babar Azam, alongside Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Salman Ali Agha, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Wasim Junior, Mohammad Haris, and Zaman Khan.

As they prepare for the upcoming tournament, Pakistan is set to face New Zealand in a warm-up match scheduled for Friday in Hyderabad.

Subsequently, they will have their second warm-up encounter against Australia on October 3, leading up to the commencement of their World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on October 6, all taking place at the same venue in Hyderabad.
