Pakistan also announce Playing XI for Perth Test vs Australia

Srinagar: Visitors Pakistan have also announced their Playing XI for the first Test of the series in Perth against Australia that begins on Thursday.

Earlier Australia had confirmed their playing eleven.Pat Cummins will lead the home side, while Travis Head has been reappointed vice-captain.

Australia made just one change to the most recent side that took the field in the Ashes finale in August at The Oval, with the fit-again Nathan Lyon replacing Todd Murphy.

Pacers Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad are set to make their Test debut for Pakistan.

Sarfaraz Ahmed was preferred in the lineup ahead of Mohammad Rizwan in the wicketkeeping department.

Pakistan Playing XI: Imam ul Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood (c), Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Agha Salman, Faheem Ashraf, Aamir Jamal, Shaheen Afridi, Khurram Shehzad.

Australia Playing XI: David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Mitch Marsh, Alex Carey, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins (c), Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood.
