J&K had suffered its first defeat on Sunday against Jharkhandh. On Monday despite restricting MP to a below par total of 155/8 in allotted 50 overs, J&K batting failed once again to bundle out for 70.

Batting first MP could score only 155/8 in 50 overs. Sandhya and Neha Chowdary took three wickets each for J&K while as Heena and Fancy took one each. For MP, Babita Mandlik scored 44.

In reply J&K like previous match started slowly. J&K openers added only 17 runs in first 11 overs. Bushra Ashraf was first wicket to fall on J&K’s total of 17 runs in 11.2 overs. She got out after scoring 9 from 27 balls. Anju Devi was second wicket to fall on the J&K score of 21 in 13.1 over.

Last match’s top scorer Meenu Singh Slatia joined Rubia Syed in the middle. They tried to resurrect J&K inning but once Rubia got out on her individual score of 15, J&K wickets kept falling. Meenu tried to stay in middle but couldn’t do much. There were four scores of naught in J&K’s middle order with Sarla Devi, Nusrat Jan, Sandhya and Nadia Chowdhary all getting out for duck. For Nusrat who is playing as pure batswoman it was second consecutive duck. Meenu was night wicket to fall in J&K inning after scoring 24. J&K got all out for 70.
