Srinagar: Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has pointed out that Pakistan should have scored 220 on the excellent batting surface, as New Zealand chased target easily in 3rd T20I.
Pakistan posted 178-4 while batting first and ended up losing the match by seven wickets with 10 balls to spare.
Taking to X, Afridi said that Pakistan should have made better use of the excellent batting conditions at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
“On an excellent batting surface, we didn’t make enough runs. The score should have been around 220,” Afridi said.
“Well played Shadab, the rest of the batters should aim for better strike rates in these conditions and pitches. Goodluck for the remaining games.
“Great inns by Chapman, a great lesson on how to finish a match!”.
