As the dust on the sarcastic tweet of Ambati Rayudu is yet to settle, Pakistan cricket team chief selection racked the 3-Dimensional debate again by saying they have selected three dimensional squad of Pakistan for the ICC World-2019.
Pakistan on Thursday, April 18-2019 announced its 15-member squad for the World Cup and also two reserves. In the list they have dropped Mohammad Amir, Asif Ali, Usman Shinwari and Mohammad Rizwan like players.
Commenting on the team selected Inzamam ul Haq said, “We have selected a three-dimensional squad, which gives the captain a wide range of options of whatever game plan he chooses on a match day. We have experienced batters, backed up by bowlers with plenty of variety and variation to exploit any type of conditions”.
The mention of 3-D in his quote has brought to mind recent controversy involving A Rayudu after BCCI chief selector MSK Prasad had justified the selection Vijay Shankar in place of Rayudu on the basis of being 3-Dimensional player.
Reacting to that Rayudu had posted sarcastic tweet saying he is buying 3-D glasses to watch world cup. The tweet became instant hit on social media and was major highlight in the media as well.
