Srinagar, Oct 4: In the ongoing Noor Din Memorial Cup Palhallan, Red Star Budgam defeated Kashmir Sports Mazhama by five wickets in Saturday.
Earlier Kashmir Sports Mazhama won the toss and decide to bat first. They posted a good total of 151/9 in alloted 20 overs.
Suhail scored quick 39 runs while as ubaid contributed with 32 runs for them. Irfan chipped in with 22. Mashooq ,Manzoor & Aqib took 2 each wickets each for Red Star while as Nazir & Javaid took 1 wicket each.
In reply Red Star Budgam chased the target of 151 runs in just 14.3 overs. Opener Asif scor d blazing 50 off just 18 balls. He got out after scoring 54 while as Junaid contributed 23 & Javid added 19.
Asif was awarded man of the for his quick half century.
