As per statement Nawab and Gullu made successful summit of  5700 mtr Mount DKD 2 peak on June 25 at 6:30 am.

“We made summit attempt directly from Advanced Base Camp (ABC) at 4200 mtr , which otherwise is attempted from Camp 1 at 5000 mtr,” said climbers.

“We are highly thankfull to J&K Mountaineering and Hiking Club (JKMHC) President Mahmood Ahmad Shah for the continuous support and encouragement. Without his support and guidance we could not have been part of this camp and achieved this feat,” they said.

Both the climbers are part of IMF Pre-Everest training camp. IMF next season from Everest Base Camp is scheduled to launch expeditions to Mt Everest – 8848 Mtrs, Lhotse- 8516 Mtrs, Nuptse – 7861 Mtrs and Pumori – 7161 Mtrs.
