“J&K players have successful at National level so far without this type of latest equipment and facility. Despite lack of top level facility our players have been able to bag lot of medals at Nation al level. Now you will be getting facility of International standard and that should result in International success,” Navin Choudhary said while interacting with players.

“J&K is likely only place in entire Country to have acquired latest International standard water sports equipment. It is also the only place in Country which is building multiple International standard facilities across J&K. You have now got best equipment and facility available round the clock. I am sure we will be able to achieve Asian Games and Olympic Games success soon,” he further said.

Players on the occasion were encouraged with the words and appreciation from Navin Choudhary and said that since he took over Association they have felt complete change.

“We are thankful to our Association President Navin K Choudhary for bringing total change in water sports in such a short span of time. He has completely changed complexion of our sports by bringing in latest equipment and top level facilities. Apart from lobbying in Government to develop water sports , he has also generated equipment for Association through private sponsorships,” said International Canoe player Adil.

“Last year we had no hope of competing in National event amid lockdown. With the personal intervention of Navin Choudhary we were able to reach venue by air. With all facilities available now we have no excuse to fall short in any competition,” Villayat said.
