Naveen ul Haq takes another Savage dig at Virat Kohli after RCB knocked out of IPL

Srinagar: Continuing his feud with batting superstar Virat Kohli, Afghanistan pacer Naveen ul Haq on Sunday took another brutal dig at India batter after RCB were knocked out of IPL 2023.

Despite scoring record IPL 7th century, Virat Kohli’s RCB got knocked out of the league after Shubman Gill century powered Gujarat Titans to win. With that Mumbai Indians qualified for the playoffs.

As getting knocked out of league wasn’t enough for Kohli and co, LSG pacer Naveen ul Haq took savage dig at India batter.

On Saturday, the LSG quick was brutally attacked by the Eden Gardens crowd, as he was in Lucknow as well with crowd teasing him with loud ‘Kohli’ chants.

Not once was he allowed to breathe at both the venues. Each time he was bowling, the crowd looked to distract him. And when he fielded, the crowd were at his ears. There was no stopping.

LSG star kept the war alive on social media with cryptic posts, one of which featured on Sunday moments after RCB lost by six wickets at the Chinnaswamy.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a story of the famous African reporter, who says, “God have mercy upon us” before bursting into laughter.

There is a background  behind sharing this particular video. Earlier in March, when De Villiers had interviewed Kohli during a live video chat on his YouTube channel, the two couldn’t stop laughing about that same particular video which Naveen shared. Kohli had called it his ‘favourite video’.

Kohli had a spat with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir and Naveen ul Haq when RCB clashed with LSG. Kohli and Gambhir were fined 100 percent match fee while as Naveen was fined 50 percent.
