Srinagar, August 19: Mujtaba Yousuf and Rasikh Salam, the two young Kashmiri pacers, are all-set to join their respective teams as net-bowlers ahead of the resumption of IPL 2021.

Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) provided them the No Objection Certificates (NOCs), setting them free to participate in the tournament.

They will soon be in Dubai as the remaining part of IPL 2021 was rescheduled and will go ahead from September 19.

“The players have been granted permission after due deliberations by the JKCA Sub-committee,” Brig Anil Gupta, a sub-committee member of JKCA, told Daily Excelsior.

“The permission has been granted subject to the proviso that if any player’s service is needed by JKCA or for representing J&K team, they would be relieved from the IPL and sent to Jammu/Srinagar under the arrangements of the concerned IPL team,” he said.

Mujtaba, the left-arm seamer, will join Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) contingent while Rasikh Salam will continue to be a part of Mumbai Indians (MI).
