Srinagar: Highlighting once again his humble nature and closeness to religion, Pakistan star cricketer Mohammad Rizwan on Saturday gifted holy Quran to his Harvard Business School teacher.
The Pakistan star duo of Babar Azam and Rizwan are currently participating in education programe at Harvard. Babar and Rizwan are the first ever cricketers to attend the Harvard Business School’s executive education program, which specifically focuses on The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS).
The programe runs from May 31 to June 3 and the duo attended classes at the Harvard Business School campus in Boston, Massachusetts.
Former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou, and Chelsea football club captain, Cesar Azpillicueta, are also Pakistan duo’s classmates at Harvard.
Previously footballer’s like Kaka have attended the programe.
Rizwan who is known for spreading the message of Islam through his speeches at various mosques during his cricket tours to different countries has continued his efforts during the US trip as well.
On the last day of the program, Rizwan gifted a Holy Quran to his teacher from the Harvard Business School’s executive education program. This gesture not only showcased Rizwan’s gratitude for the opportunity but also demonstrated his commitment to his faith and its values.
Meanwhile, Babar Azam’s presence at Harvard seems to have inspired his classmates.
A female classmate of Babar’s shared a picture on social media, captioned with, “Finding my next career as a cricket player.”
This light-hearted comment reveals the impact that Babar’s passion and talent for cricket have had on those around him.
Babar has been sharing pics from the trip on his social media handles and on on Saturday posted an image that offered a sneak peek from the classroom.
