Mohammad Rizwan congratulates Sarfaraz Ahmed for completing 3000 Runs in Test Cricket

Srinagar: Pakistan star wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan has congratulated former skipper and current Test team wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed for becoming first Pakistan wicketkeeper to score 3000 Test runs. 

“Congratulations to Saifi Bhaiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa on reaching the landmark of 3000 runs as a WK in World Test Cricket for Pakistan. May your cricketing career keep flourishing. One of the finest WK batters Pakistan cricket has produced so far,” Rizwan tweeted.

Sarfaraz achieved the milestone during the first innings of the ongoing opening Test of two-match series against Sri Lanka in Galle. He scored a boundary to reach 3000 runs in 91 innings.

Sarfaraz is the 20th Pakistani batter to score 3000+ runs in Test cricket. He has scored 21 fifties and four centuries in his career.
