Srinagar: Former Pakistan pacer Shadab Khan has termed Pakistan premier leg spinner Shadab Khan as the best white-ball cricketer of Pakistan.
Shadab Khan has been under fire recently for below par performance in the T20I series against New Zealand and dropping crucial catch of centurion Mark Chapman who led New Zealand to win in 5th T20I.
Now Mohammad Amir has came forward to support Shadab.
“Best white ball Cricketer in Pakistan. Performance can go up and down. Every player goes through it. Keep working hard brother u are love,” Mohammad Amir Tweeted.
Meanwhile former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has also pointed out about Shadab’s struggles against left-handed batsmen.
“Shadab has always been a strong performer in the middle-overs, but struggles against left-handed batsmen. It’s important for him to focus on his bowling, as that is his strength. As a batsman, he should take a backseat. In the end, Shadab’s performance is what matters most and he should strive to improve his bowling to secure his spot in the squad,” he said.
