Mitchell Starc inswinging delivery sends Sarfaraz Ahmed’s off stump flying

Srinagar: Pakistan bundled out for 271 run total in first inning during ongoing Perth Test but one dismissal caught attention of everyone as Australia pace spearhead Mitchell Starc shattered stumps Pakistan batter Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Thanks to Aamer Jamal’s 6-111, Pakistan had hit back on the second day of the first Test match of the Benaud-Qadir Trophy as Australia collapsed from 411-5 to 487.

Pakistan, 132-2 overnight, lost night-watch Khurram Shahzad early, but looked settled at 181-3 before losing Imam-ul-Haq (62) and Babar Azam (21) in quick succession.

Mitchell Starc had taken out Shan Masood (30) on the second evening.

On Third Day, bowling from over the wicket, he curled a ball into Sarfraz Ahmed at 140.1kph.

The ball zoomed through the gap between Sarfraz’s bat and pad and sent the off-stump cartwheeling towards the slip cordon as Pakistan slumped to 195-6.

It was moment to remember on the Day 3 as visitors got all out for 271 run total. Though Pakistan pacers started brilliantly but hosts were on top.
