Mirza Saaib reveals hardwork behind 250-KM  Thar-2016 win

Srinagar: The Mumbai based Kashmiri, rider Mirza Saib Beg who emerged winner in India’s one of the toughest cycling event, 250-KM Thar-2016 has revealed hardwork behind his success.

While thanking all of his well friends for the wishes, Mirza wrote on his Facebook page, “The line-up for the 250 km Thaar race was exceptionally competitive with the state teams from Rajasthan, state champions from Gujarat and the Indian Railways teams competing for the top slot”.

“I had no team with me at the race but I had the full support of my Mumbai friends before I left for the race which had a major role in this victory despite the intimidating odds against us,” he wrote.

He also revealed that during event that his bike suffered malfunction and that was rectified with the help of Services team.mirza-thar

“Shout out to the servicing team at Giant, Khar- Mumbai (Pravin), for servicing my bike, last minute and helping me save a few precious watts that evidently reflected in the crucial parts of the race. What helped me most of all was my customized nutrition plan, a personally curated targeted-data training on EEH, cryotherapy, depleted oxygen altitude training at The Alchemy Life with Neville, needling/ deep tissue massages which addressed aches, released tension from stiff muscles, stretching exercises (Kelly) and my ever dependable EnerzaL sachets which helped my body deal with the dry desert dehydration (Ajit) exacerbated by the incessant cross/headwind” he wrote on facebook.

He also said that he going to organize training workshop in coming days and the interested riders can directly contact him for that.

“For those interested in taking their game to the next level, I will be organizing an intensive workshop soon to divulge the most efficient and effective way to train and perform for desired results. Details on venue and time to follow soon”, he said.
