Srinagar: Parvez Rasool and Shubam Khajuria steadied the JK inning after the fall of early three wickets on the opening day of the Ranjhi trophy match against Andra Pradesh at Mumbai on Thursday.

At lunch after 38 overs of play, JK were on 75 for the loss of three wickets. Parvez was batting on 10 and opener Shubam 35.V Kumar, S Kumar and B Bhat took one wicket each for AP.

JK started day terrible note with opener Adil Reshi getting out with JK three runs. He scored only one run. Promoted Amir Aziz was next to go after scoring 15 runs with JK total on 18. The third wicket of the day was crucial for JK as it was Ian Dev who have been solid so far in the event for team. He got out after scoring 13 runs with JK total on 51.


Skipper Mithun Manhas has again pushed himself back after a terrible outing in a match against Goa. He seems low on confidence and has chose to send in-form batsman ahead of him.
