Khelo India Winter Games 2024 Medal Tally: J&K win Zero medals in Ladakh

Srinagar: The Ladakh leg of the Khelo India Winter Games 2024 ended at Leh Ladakh on Tuesday with finals of Ice Hockey held on the final day.

After the Ladakh leg of the Khelo India Winter Games 2024, Maharashtra top the medal tally with six golds, eight silver and six bronze. Karnataka also have six golds but have are second on the medals list with two silver and no bronze for a total of eight medals.
Ladakh with two gold, six silver and seven bronze medals are at third place.

J&K in the Ladakh leg of the games have failed to win a single medal. All the hopes of J&K now rest on the Gulmarg leg of the games. However, it will be hard for J&K to retain the title this year.

The Khelo India Winter Games 2024 this year are being conducted in two phases. The first, from February 2 to 6, was held in Leh, Ladakh while the second is scheduled from February 21 to 25, in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir.

KIWG 2024 is the fourth edition of multi-sport competition under the aegis of Khelo India programme. Started in 2020, KIWG seeks to promote winter sports in the country and has been met with widespread enthusiasm over the years.

All three previous editions, in 2020, 2021 and 2023, were hosted and won by Jammu and Kashmir.
