Shubham, who is a professional traveler, photographer and filmmaker from Uttarakhand will be covering more than 4000 kilometers of distance all alone by running from Srinagar to Kanyakumari.

“My next expedition is Kashmir to Kanyakumari solo unsupported running of more than 4000 kilometers, world record running in India. I will be covering all major Indian cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Udaipur, Ahmadabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and others during the run and I will also be filming every day and posting it in all social media platforms,” Shubham said.

He said that Kashmir to Kanyakumari running has been done by only three ultra-runners in the past – two Indians and one Australian.

“All of them were with a full-fledged team with all the support staff. As I am running for sustainability, I will be carrying my entire luggage with me while doing this expedition, which makes it even more hard to do. I will be first one to do K2K running solo and unsupported,” Shubham said.

Previously Shubham has done Solo cycling of whole Himalayan length for sustainable tourism covering a distance of 6000 kilometers of mountain cycling in 105 days. He has also cycled Solo from Ahmedabad to Kanyakumari covering 3200 kilometer distance in 55 days. Apart from that he has motorcycled Gujarat to J&K, one among his other accomplishments.

This Kashmir to Kanyakumari solo running is scheduled to start from Studio Kilab, Kani house, Mughal lane, Zakura, Srinagar on November 1.

About the aim behind taking this tough extreme challenge, he said that he is running for Planet sustainability.

“Our earth is a beautiful place, but it has been destroyed by our lifestyle. The quality of the air, water and food available on earth is at its lowest quality today because of our demanding lifestyle. The more plastic we use, more is the food wasted. More factories making more products we buy are killing our life which is made of three main elements, air, water and food. I will be highlighting this all along my running route,” Shubham said.
