Kashmir Club cricketer dies due to ‘COVID-19’ complications

Srinagar, July 31: The Kashmir club level cricketer Asif Bisati is first cricketer from Kashmir who has become victim of deadly Coronavirus, reports said. However, the family members have refuted the reports and have said that he died due to low oxygen levels (saturation).

As per reports Asif Bisati who hails from Buchpora area of Srinagar passed away on Thursday due to COVID19 complications.

The news about the death of Asif who was known as Inzi amoung his friends in Cricket fraternity was made public by former Ranji Trophy cricketer of J&K, Manzoor Dar on his Facebook page.

He also confirmed it that he died due to COVID-19 complications.

However on the same post, the one user commented that Asif didn’t die due to COVID19 as repeatedly tested negative for the virus.

“He was not covid positive
Thrice he was tested negative at SKIMS.
His saturation was low . Allah talla mafigrattt karayyy aurrr iskooo jananutul Firdous ataaa farmayaa, ” A Facebook user Waseem commented on Manzoor Dad’s post.

Meanwhile Khyber Downtown Champions League T20 have also consoled the demise of Asif Bisati who they say used to play for FCC.

“Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un , May ALLAH grant sabar for the family to bear. Asif Bisati (inzi) was very famous crickter from FCC .. YA ALLAH REHAM KAR…, ” a statement on the official page of the league said.
