Srinagar, 26 July: Shaheen FC Jammu inflicted 5th straight defeat on Sports Council Football Academy (SFA) in the ongoing JKFA Professional League at synthetic turf TRC ground Srinagar on Monday July 26.
Playing its fifth match of the league, the young side of SFA suffered 3-5 defeat at the hands of Shaheen FC Jammu. It was fifth straight defeat for SFA in the league thus keeping them at bottom of the points table.
As per JKFA handout both the teams played quality football and SFA displayed man to man marking and perfect ball control. However Shaheen Sports FC, Jammu defeated SCFA by 5 goals to 3. Amritpal & Mac scored two goals each , and Gagandeep scored one goal for Shaheen FC.
The young Turks of SFA proved equally good and scored 3 beautiful goals through Parvez ( two goals) and Abinam one goal. SFA boys played a quality game and gave a good fight trying to level the score, but the defence line of Shaheen Sports prevented them to do so, statement added.
Amrit Pal Sing was declared as the man of the match.
