Srinagar, November 24: J&K Football Association (JKFA) and Downtown Heroes FC have congratulated Real Kashmir FC for becoming first team from J&K to get entry into historic IFA Shield football tournament in Kolkatta.
JKFA and Downtown Heroes FC posted congratulation messages on their respective Facebook pages.
“CONGRATULATIONS- RKFC. It is a matter of great pleasure that Real Kashmir Football Club has been selected to participate in the prestigious 123rd IFA shield Football Tournament to be organized by the Indian Football Association (West Bengal) from 6th December, 2020 to 19th December, 2020 in Kolkata. J&K Football Association & the fraternity of Footballers of J&K UT congratulate the Management of Real Kashmir FC for achieving this honour being the first ever club from J&K to participate in the event. The Association wishes best of luck to the Club for future endeavours, ” JKFA post reads.
Downtown Heroes FC which is also aspiring to play in I-League in future also posted congratulation message on its official Facebook handle.
“We believe for better good of football and welfare of players Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd should allow these star players to play for Real Kashmir FC in I-League
By playing in I-League they will be making whole Kmr & Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd proud, ” Downtown Heroes FC pist reads.
