JKCA Senior Multi-Days: Mujeeb-ul-Haq’s 92 and Waseem Raza’s 4-fer remain highlight of day

Srinagar: Mujeeb Ul Haq scored magnificent 92 runs while Waseem Raza took 4 important wickets as JKCA B4 were in sight of vital first innings lead against JKCA B2 in the ongoing JKCA Senior Men’s Multi-Day Tournament at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, Ground-A on Wednesday.

Earlier, winning the toss and electing to bat, JKCA B4 scored a decent total of 278 runs in 65.1 overs. Mujeeb Ul Haq top scored with 92 runs, while Idrees Beigh and Aafan Muzaffar contributed 50 and 48 runs to the total respectively.

Waseem Raza was pick of the bowlers for JKCA B2, who took 4 wickets by conceding 45 runs in his 20 overs, while Shahid Shabir bagged 3 wickets and Irfan Ul Haq claimed one.

In reply, JKCA B2 were 59/3 in 24 overs at stumps on day-1 today. Momin scored 21 runs, while Gulzar (13) and Amir Khan (07) were at the crease.

For JKCA B4, Shahnawaz Iqbal, Shahrukh Dar and Javed Ganie shared one wicket each. JKCA B2 is still trailing by 219 runs with 7 wickets in hand.

The matches are being officiated by Vikram Dogra, Deepak Gupta, Dayal Singh Vikas Bali, Hilal Mir and Faizan Fayaz as Umpires, while Ashok Singh, Sabastian Frank and Amjid as the scorers.
