J&K Judo Association Kashmir wing thanks SpiceJet for providing mats

Srinagar, December 02: J&K Judo Association Kashmir wing Wednesday thanked Chairman, SpiceJet, an Indian airline, Ajay Singh for providing mats to them.

In a press release, the association said that it was on a request of one of its players, Kabra Altaf, the airline sent down the playing mats.

“The J&K Judo Association Kashmir wing received Judo mat sets provided by Mr. Ajay Singh, Chairman & Managing Director of SpiceJet for judo players of Kashmir province after a simple request from our judo player, Kabra Altaf, during her interaction with him at Khelo India Games 2020, Assam,” it said.

The association said it was their long pending demand.

“We wholeheartedly thank him as this was our long pending demand which has been fulfilled today,” the statement read.

These mat sets were received at Indoor Sports Hall, Polo Ground Srinagar in presence of Mr. Sartaj, Manager SpiceJet, Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport Srinagar, Mr. Abdul Hamid Khan, Vice President, J&K Judo Association, Mr. Gowhar Khan, Joint Secretary, J&K Judo Association, Kabra Altaf, national judo medalist.

The SpiceJet authorities also distributed refreshments among all the judo players.
