Jammu and Kashmir beat Punjab by 4 wickets in the 3rd T20 practice match at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, Srinagar on Thursday.
Earlier, batting first, Punjab were bundled out on a meagre score of 99 in 18.3 overs. Fast bowlers Rasikh Salam and Umar Nazir bowled brilliantly, picking up three wickets each.
Other bowlers also chipped in with a wicket each. For Punjab, Gaurav Choudhary top-scored with 22 runs.
In reply, J&K lost three wickets at the score of 19 but then Abdul Samad came in and fired quick 26 runs off 12 balls, shifting the momentum towards J&K.
However, J&K still lost few more wickets. Then Nasir Lone did the finishing job, playing a sensible cameo of 27 runs in 21 balls, remaining the highest run-getter from J&K.
J&K chased down the total in overs with 4 wickets in J&K. Punjab still leads the four-match series 2-1.
