Srinagar, November 29: In a major boost to the Real Kashmir FC for its I-League 2020-21 campaign J&K Bank on Saturday relieved its star trio players to play for the club.

Sources told KSW that J&K Bank was earlier reluctant to release the services of Danish Farooq, Farhan Ganie and Adnan for Real Kashmir FC this season citing its own domestic commitments, but on Saturday, they issued release order for the trio with immediate effect.

The order was issued after the intervention of higher authorities in J&K Goverment and also Chairmain, J&K Bank.

The three leading local stars are now expected to leave for Kolkatta on Monday along with rest of the Real Kashmir FC who will be starting its pre-season camp in Kolkatta.

They will start thier season by playing IFA Shield tournament followed by I-League 2020-21, which is this year being held at one place owing to COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier when J&K Bank had refused to release its star players for Real Kashmir FC, there was outrage in football circles with trio being considered as certain starters in Real Kashmir FC I-League campaign.

Real Kashmir FC found support from allmost every football follower of J&K as the reluctance from Bank was impeding the free-flow careers of these stars who can go on to play for National side or in Indian Super League in future.
