Srinagar, April 30: In a surprise move, Ravindra Jadeja has handed back Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captaincy to MS Dhoni after a disappointing performance by the franchisee in the ongoing IPL 2022.

“Ravindra Jadeja has decided to relinquish captaincy to focus and concentrate more on his game and has requested MS Dhoni to lead CSK,” CSK Statement read.

Ravindra Jadeja was handed CSK captaincy at the start of the league, as MS Dhoni had stepped down at last moment.

Meanwhile MS Dhobi has accepted to lead the side for the reminder of the tournament.

“MS Dhoni has accepted to lead CSK in the larger interest and to allow Jadeja to focus on his game,” CSK Statement added.
