The 2 Sambo martial art players Irfan Latief and Faisal Maqbool from J&K Police judo team have won silver and bronze medals in the ongoing 9th National Sambo Championship at Patli-Pura Stadium in Patna.
Irfan had to settle for silver medal in senior category in -68kg weight category after he lost final bout against Haryana. Faisal bagged bronze in -82kg weight category. The event is organised by Sambo Association of Bihar under the aegis of Sambo Federation of India. The team is accompanied by coaches Rameshwar Singh Janwal and Komal Gupta.
