Srinagar, April 11: Jammu and Kashmir’s Abdul Samad is all set to feature in Sunrises Hyderabad’s playing XI as the David Warner-led side opted to bowl first in their first match of IPL 2021 against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Samad, who was a regular in team last IPL as well, will be hoping to make it count this time. He played a few cameos during IPL 2020, making sure SRH retains him ahead of the 2021 season.

The right-handed batsman had a decent outing for Jammu and Kashmir in both Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare Trophy. This has, hence, made SRH think-tank continue with him. As he is capable of scoring those big shots on a constant basis, his addition gives the team more depth down the order.
