The Indian selectors on Wednesday announced the team for the first three Test matches against England and Rishabh Pant has called his maiden Test call-up. With Pant getting his maiden call, Karun Nair has also been re-called while Bhuvneshwar Kumar is out as he has aggravated a lower back condition in the 3rd ODI against England.
His condition is being assessed by the BCCI medical team and a call on his inclusion in the Test squad will be made soon. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah who was injured during the first T20I against Ireland will be available for selection from the 2nd Test onwards.
