Srinagar, May 20: India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s father, Kiran Pal Singh, passed away due to liver cancer at his Meerut residence.
Kiran Pal Singh, 63, got diagnosed with cancer back in September 2020. He Singh was undergoing treatment in a Noida hospital but had joined the family in the last few days.
His health condition worsened two weeks ago, leading to hospitalisation at a private facility in his hometown, Meerut. His liver ailments led him to suffer jaundice and he, unfortunately, lost his battle today.
Pal Singh served for the Uttar Pradesh Police but later opted for voluntary retirement as he was not keeping well health-wise.
