
The veteran Pakistan born leg spinner of South Africa Imran Tahir has went on to become South Africa’s leading wicket-taker in World Cup.
The 40 year old, Imran Tahir went on to pass Allan Donald (38 wickets) to become South Africa’s leading wicket-taker in cricket World Cup history.
On Sunday, Tahir was two wickets away from the milestone and he achieved it during South Africa’s Icc Cricket World Cup 2019 match against Pakistan at Lord’s. He reached the milestone with the wickets of Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman.
Earlier in the tournament, team-mate Hashim Amla had achieved the landmark of becoming the second fastest to 8000 runs in ODIs.
