Srinagar: Pakistan senior all rounder Iftikhar Ahmed has continued his blistering form in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League T20 by smashing another fifty in the event.
Iftikhar Ahmed on Friday smashed unbeaten 51-run inning from 31 balls, to guide Fortune Barishal to 194-5 in 20 overs against Khulna Tigers.
Iftikhar has now become the joint second leading run-scorer in the ongoing season, with his teammate Shakib Al Hasan also with 347 runs.
Iftikhar came to the crease at 97-2 in 12th over, and stitched a 52-run partnership with Shakib to set a perfect platform for finish.
The 32-year-old smashed three fours and three sixes in his blistering knock.
Earlier in the season, Iftikhar scored his maiden century from only 45 balls against Rangpur Riders.
