Srinagar: Table toppers Real Kashmir FC side suffered its second consecutive in the ongoing I-League under coach Mehraj ud Din Wadoo as they were beaten by Kolkatta giants Mohammedan Sporting by 1-0 on Friday at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan stadium, Kolkata.
In first half no goal was scored and the 57th minute strike by M. Joseph was enough to seal three important points for Mohammedan Sporting.
It is second defeat for Real Kashmir FC side after they had suffered their first loss of the campaign in their last fixture against RoundGlass Punjab FC.
After eight match, Real Kashmir have got 16 points with five wins, two defeats and one draw. The second placed side Sreenidi Deccan have similar points but on goal difference Real Kashmir FC occupy top position.
