HPL: Kashmir Hunks, Kaka XI Sumbal qualify for next round of the tourney

In the ongoing Hajin Premier League, two matches were played in the day.

In the first match, Kashmir Hunks defeated JS CC Srinagar in a close contest by 2 wickets.
Batting first, JS Srinagar posted a small total of 101/9 on board in allotted 18 overs. Nisar Ahmad was the top scorer with 39 runs to his name. Arif Lone took 4 while as Tasdeeq took 3 wickets for Kashmir Hunks.

In reply, Kashmir Hunks lost wickets at regular intervals but eventually managed to chase down the target in 15 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Rayas was the highest scorer with 32 runs to his name. Rayees took 4 wickets for JSCC.

Tasdeeq was declared as player of the match for his brilliant bowling spell.

In the second match, Kaka XI Sumbal defeated Green Challengers Naidkhai by 3 wickets to enter next round of the tournament.

Batting first, Green Challengers bundled out on mere 99 runs in 17.4 overs. Syed Sabahat was the top scorer with 43 runs to his name. For Kaka XI, Manzoor Illahi and Gowhar took 4 wickets each.

Chasing the target, Kaka XI Sumbal managed to cross the line in the last over of the match (100/7 in 19.1 overs). Parvaiz Reshi added 18 while as Manzoor Illahi scored valuable 14 runs for his team. Muzafar took 3 wickets for Green Challengers.

Manzoor Illahi was declared as player of the match for his all-round brilliance.
