Herschelle Gibbs suggests how Babar Azam can improve strike rate

Srinagar: Former South Africa hard-hitting batter Herschelle Gibbs has come up with a suggestion for Pakistan skipper Babar Azam on how to improve strike rate in T20 cricket.

Babar Azam had a bad outing in Asia Cup 2022 recently , failing with the bat. However, it is the strike of Babar and his fellow opener Mohammad Rizwan that has come under scanner.

Now former South Africa opening batter Herschelle Gibbs, known for his big-hitting skills took to Twitter and suggest how Babar Azam could improve his strike rate.

“If babar adds one or two more attacking options to his game his strike rate will improve and be even more effective,” Gibbs Tweeted.

Babar is a technically perfect batter and is known for playing classy shots. Gibbs is suggesting that Babar starts opting for a few high risk adventurous strokes which will open up more run scoring avenues for him, especially while playing top quality bowling attacks on pitches where the ball doesn’t come on to the bat.
