Srinagar: Pakistan senior pacer Hasan Ali was at his all-round best for Warwickshire during the ongoing 2023 County Championship, smashing a quick fifty and also taking two wickets.
Having being impressive throughout the County Championship stint so far, Hasan Ali on Monday against Nottinghamshire in a Division One fixture in Nottingham, scored half-century from just 35 balls.
At lunch on the second day, Warwickshire had scored of 524-7 in their first innings, with Hasan remaining unbeaten on 54 off 35 deliveries. He was accompanied by wicketkeeper Michael Burgess, who contributed 50 runs off 76 balls.
However, shortly after lunch, Hasan was dismissed by Calvin Harrison without any more runs to his tally. His inning included five Sixes and three fours.
As per report, Hasan has become the only batter in Division One of the County Championship to hit 10 sixes in the ongoing season.
By the end of second day’s play, Hasan Also took two wickets in five overs, reducing Nottinghamshire to a score of 82/5.
