Srinagar: Pakistan have got another injury scar before the World Cup 2023 clash vs England as pacer Haris Rauf has undergone scans for sprain.
Haris Rauf was on Tuesday tested for a potential sprain in his ribs as the Pakistan prepare to take on England in the 44th match of the ICC World Cup 2023 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, India, on November 11.
Rauf was tested in a local hospital in Kolkata after he complained about feeling a sprain in his ribs. Haris had left the field during New Zealand’s innings after conceding 85 runs in 10 overs.
Earlier Shadab Khan, who left the field after suffering a concussion against South Africa in Chennai, has not featured in a game and his participation in the Men in Green’s next match is still undecided.
Pakistan’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup semi-final still remain difficult as their destiny isn’t entirely in their hands.
