Pandya excelled with the bat, scoring 144 runs, including a notable half-century against Bangladesh. His bowling was even more impactful, taking eleven wickets in eight innings with a strike rate of 13.64. This performance helped him climb two places in the rankings, making him the first Indian to achieve this top position among all-rounders.
Other Indian Players on the Rise
Axar Patel, who delivered a match-winning performance in the World Cup final, has moved up seven places to rank 12th among all-rounders.
Bumrah and Others in the Bowler Rankings
In the bowlers’ rankings, Jasprit Bumrah has advanced twelve places to 12th, his best since 2020. South Africa’s Anrich Nortje reached a career-best second position, while Adil Rashid retains the top spot. Additionally, Kuldeep Yadav and Arshdeep Singh have also improved, moving up to ninth and thirteenth, respectively.
