Hajin, May 27: In the second Semi-finals of the ongoing Hajin Cricket Cup, BCC Hajin defeated FCC Hajin in a rain effected match by 2 runs to enter finals of the tournament.
Batting first, FCC posted a huge total of 201/6 on board in alloted 20 overs. Aabid played a brilliant knock of 79 runs while as Mohd Rafi added 29 runs to his name. Gauhar Leggy and Umar Lefty bagged 2 wickets each for BCC Hajin.
In reply, BCC got off to a flying start and were 91/2 in 9.3 overs when rain interrupted. BCC were ahead of the D/L revised target by 2 runs and hence won the match to enter grand finale. Aijaz was the top scorer with unbeaten 41 runs to his name.
Gauhar Leggy was declared as player of the match for his brilliant bowling spell.
BCC Hajin will now face Green X Ganderbal in the finals of the tournament.
