Srinagar, Sept 19: Sar Palhallan Blues defeated Wanigam-XI in the match of the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village cricket championship Palhallan 2020 on Saturday.
Earlier Stra Palhallan won the toss and decided to bat first. They lost both openers cheaply. After that Altaf & Adil held innings together scoring 45 & 55 respectively. Star Palhallan managed to score 151/7 in allotted 18 overs. Manzoor took 4 wickets for Wanigam XI.
In reply , Wanigam XI lost top 5 batsmen on mere 23 runs in which Aqib grabbed 4 wickets in first 2 overs of his spell . Manzoor Scored unbeaten 68 & Shahid added 41 runs in teams chase. They were to score only 124/6 in allotted 18 overs .
Aqib was awarded Man of the match for his bowling performance .
