Srinagar Sep 13: In the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village Cricket Championship second match of the day was played between Star Palhallan Blues and United Wanigam I’m which Blues beat United by three wickets at Palhallan on Sunday.
Earlier United Wanigam won the toss and decided to bat first.They got all out for 133 all-out in 17.5 overs. Atif Scored 50 runs in which he smashed 6 huge sixes while Shoiab also contributed 24 runs for the team. Bilal , M D , Asif and Altaf took 2 wickets each for Star Palhallan Blues .
In reply , Star Palhallan Blues opener Gulzar departed cheaply. Other senior Players like Altaf & M.D also failed to scored runs. It was Mushtaq who scored 46 runs in teams chase while Tanveer & Asif scored 26 and 24 respectively. They achieved target in 18.3 overs. Shoiab & Atif clinched 3 wickets each for United Wanigam .
Asif was adjudged Man of the match for his all-round performance .
