Srinagar, Sept 27: In the ongoing Green Willow Inter Village Cricket championship Palhallan 2020 Singpora Warriors outplayed Star Palhallan Blues by nine wickets on Sunday to book place in semifinal.
Batting first Star Palhallan Blues were 67/3 in first 10 overs. However, once Singpora Warriors introduced their spinners in shape of Firdous Malik and Shabir Ahmad into the attack, Palhallan batsman struggled for runs.
The spin duo conceded only 25 runs in their 8 overs & took 4 important wickets for the team. Shabir Ah took 3/8 in his spell. Palhallan side got out for 103 runs in 18 overs. Altaf Ah Scored 27 runs while as Mushtaq 21 runs for them.
In reply , Singpora Warrior played attacking cricket from the start. They scored 53 in first 3 overs. In 5th over Mehraj took the wicket of Aijaz on the score of 55. He scored 28 off 25 balls. Omar scored unbeaten 41 run knock of 33 balls while as Younis scored 20 runs for SW.
Shabir Ah was awarded man of the match for his bowling in which he took 3 wickets & conceded only 8 runs.
